Can I get financial aid?

Absolutely. We offer free career placement assistance to all graduates. Our career placement staff will put you in contact with prospective employers, help prepare you for interviews and even review your resume.

Is EBI accredited?
EBI is authorized by the New York State Board of Regents to award the Associate in Occupational Studies (A.O.S.) Degree in Accounting, Office Technologies, Medical Assisting, Medical Coding and Billing Reimbursement Specialist, and its programs are registered with the New York State Education Department.
EBI is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools to award certificates and associate's degrees.
The Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools is listed as a nationally recognized accrediting agency by the United States Department of Education. Its accreditation of degree granting institutions is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
Only the Elmira Business Institute Associate in Occupational Studies (Two-Year) Medical Assisting Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP), on recommendation of the Curriculum Review Board of the American Association of Medical Assistants Endowment (CRB-AAMAE).
